Differences Between a Menopause Coach & Menopause Doula

What’s the difference between a Menopause Coach & a Menopause Doula?

A Menopause Doula plays a similar role to a Birth Doula - however, a Menopause Doula supports women who are transitioning out of the reproductive phase by providing them with evidence-based info, compassionate support, resource recommendations, empowerment, and mentorship. A Menopause Coach guides women by asking specific questions to help them move forward through physical and psychological symptoms.

What does a Menopause Coach do?

  • Helps establish clear goals

  • Assists in assessing the current situation

  • Guides action for positive change

  • Encourages perseverance to reach goals

Bev is both a certified Menopause Coach and Menopause Doula. She sees clients via Zoom and in-person at her private offices in West Bay, West Vancouver.
